With the Fall Festival fast approaching, we have started to read some fun monster books...including Go Away Big Green Monster!

At the art table, the children created some scary monsters! We worked on where do the shapes and body parts we have go on our monster face.
The children have loved the dotters we get out sometimes on the art table. So this week for a literacy activity, we worked on the children dotting their first letter in the their name.
Mr. Everett, ES Counselor started coming this week!
We have expanded our exploration of color mixing this week as well! You can see the wonder expanding in the children's eyes throughout this activity.
This week I sat down with the kids and asked them what they wanted to make for cooking. We had some great ideas! So this week, we decided on pizza! They loved it!

Thank you to those who were able to come to our EC Parent Night: Growing as Readers and Writers! It was a great night for learning together and I hope to have more in the future!
Good to Know:
* Next week is our Parent-Teacher Conferences. I'm looking forward to talking with you about your child! Due to the conferences, we will not have school on Wednesday or Thursday next week!
* Library will be on Tuesday next week!
