All Around the World

This week has been full of talking about what countries we come from!  The children have enjoyed sharing about their home countries and learning about others.

For art this week, the children have worked on adding details to pictures of themselves and adding their home country flags to them!

One part of our week was working on our fine motor skills and making beaded bracelets to wear and take home!

We were lucky to have a few parents come into the classroom and share a tradition from their home countries!  Thank you to those parents and here you can see your children enjoying learning about other cultures, foods, and stories!  A few more parents will come next week as well!

Cooking this week, we discussed where eggs come from:  Chickens, farmers, supermarket!  So then we had some yummy scrambled eggs for our cooking this week!

We had a group of middle school students come and make kites with us this week as part of their sprit week and giving back!

More great pictures from the week!
